Magic Carpets is a platform uniting 17 European cultural organisations that create opportunities for emerging artists to create, together with local artists and local communities. During my MC residency I worked with seniors from day centre in Ķengarags, suburb in Riga and together we created several community events and video work.
HEF MÁL (from Icelandic "have voice") was a temporary group exhibition for one evening created during .RAR group residency in Aarhus, Denmark together with artists from different different disciplines. It was a mix of individual and collective works. Individually I explored a confusion in the streets of Aarhus together with a photographer Elín Ramette.
It's an audio walk for Daugavgrīva Fortress in Riga, Latvia and Håøya island in Norway: two stories, one shared choreography, one memorial archive.
HALL06 is the 6th installation of the project HALL33 by Dutch-Belgian collective TAAT. It takes the idea of architecture as theater to the extreme. Set in the interior of Theaterhaus Gessnerallee (Nordflügel) in Zürich HALL06 is a theatre-installation that can be best described as a social choreography. It's a sensory experience for two that addresses the value of real people meeting each other in real space.
