pull yourself together
About the project
Pull Yourself Together is an argument with self, a solo performance exploring procrastination as an embodied state. It follows a woman caught in a relentless cycle of self-doubt, fear of failure, broken promises, and constant self-reproach. Trapped in the illusion of busyness, she keeps herself in motion, running an endless shuttle race where nothing ever feels good enough.
As procrastination gradually takes over her body, resisting it becomes impossible. Instead, she surrenders to it, allowing the state to sink deeper until it transforms into movement. Through physicality, the performance reveals the emotional landscape of inner conflict, exposing the tension between the desire to act and the inability to begin.
